Azionaqua's Backyard Wildlife Habitat

With the help of the Azionaqua members, and diligent work of Azionaqua management and staff, Azionaqua has been certified a Backyard Wildlife Habitat^™ by the National Wildlife Federation^®. 

Although the main attraction at Azionaqua is Zionsville's only 50 meter outdoor pool, there are also over six acres of land surrounding the pool which are home to countless plant and animal species.  Over the past several years, the management and staff of Azionaqua have worked to preserve this land to provide a sanctuary to these plant and animals.  Although Azionaqua will be expanding it's facilities in the near future, one of our main focuses will be to maintain and improve this habitat. 

Recently we have expanded areas of the fenced in portion of the pool to include a grass and wooded area for patrons to lounge, placed several bird feeders and plants around the deck of the pool to attract animals, and improved landscaping throughout the facility.
